Thanks for the great expressions. But I have a specific problem that I could use help on.

    I used this expression

    linear(Math.floor(time)%60,0,60,0,360)

and it works great. But Is there a way to have the expression take a certain amount of frames to complete the rotation with an ease?

So instead of the movement of the rotation happening instantly it would happen say over 10frames?

    Thanks

    try this script next time:

I’ve used it successfully to save projects that were unresponsive.

Does this other machine also have Knoll Lens Flares installed?

yes, we’ve had projects created in-house, and also client projects which would crash when opened. They opened just fine on the machine that created them, however.

August 20, 2008 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Sudden Audio Preview Problem

A co-worker had the same problem. His solution was:

    1) go to preferences>audio hardware
    2) change the output to something else
    3) click OK
    4) go to preferences>audio hardware
    5) change it back to “built in output”
    6) click OK

  • I’ve had this problem before as well…my solution was to move the HD card to slot #4 (mine was in another slot- yours may already be in slot #4)
However, today I’ve noticed that the problem is back again, and I’m flustered…

April 23, 2008 at 4:40 pm in reply to: RAM Preview Memory Problem

I’ve had similar problems all week…RAM preview cuts short (only about 2-3 seconds of SD)…purge cache…then get the “must have 2 or more frames to preview”

Ran the apple hardware test looking for bad RAM…all clean.

Re-installed AE CS3, upgraded to 8.0.2, dumped all preferences…no dice.

Changed memory settings to %120/%50/2000…cleaned the database and cache…no luck.

    I’m all out of ideas…anyone???
