    Knoll Lens flare issues

    I have a couple of issues with the new CS5 version of Knoll lens flares…wondering if you guys encountered these:

    1) Projects created that contain Knoll effect crash when opened on another machine

    2) if Knoll is applied, multi-processing is disabled

    Knoll lens flare 2.7
    AE CS5 10.0.1.19
    OS X 10.6.5 2 x 2.4 quad core
    16 GB

    Does this other machine also have Knoll Lens Flares installed?

    yes, we’ve had projects created in-house, and also client projects which would crash when opened. They opened just fine on the machine that created them, however.

    that could very well be it…I’ll look into the version number of the offending plugin.
