I think you’re exactly right….I just came to the same conclusion. I was making it harder than it had to be.

    Thanks All !!
Going to try it as an image with the Card Dance as well.

Thanks….ya, my mistake…I meant animation. It’s a lot more than just moving keyframes tho, as I’ve gotten in and changed a a bunch of stuff but still cant get it to slow down. I also have the issue of wanting it to explode numerous layers as one, like in the video. I would imagine Trapcode Form is probably the plugin I’ll need.

Thanks, everyone for all the replies. I ended up downloading a program called Visual AVCHD Time Stamp and it takes the day and time from the metadata. Works like a charm. I requires an extra render, but still easier than capturing real time.

Yes, I can do that to get the timcode….what I need is the Day/Time stamp.

Right, but you end up with a .mov. I need an .mp4

Thanks for the quick reply. Unless I’m missing something tho, this would not be a time saver. I’m just looking for the fastest way to get an H.264 file rendered and out the door. I have a file that is basically templated and needs to be changed every week. I just update a few of the assets, re-render and give to the client. Unfortunately, I don’t get the updates until last minute. In CC, I could have the file done in 37 minutes….in AME it takes over an hour and a half. In my estimation, that’s not an upgrade. 🙂

Ya, that’s pretty much what I ended up doing. Thanks, Erik.

That was it. Thanks a ton for helping. I wrongly assumed that Adobe cloud would auto update so I didnt even look.

Thanks again. My particles are once again, flying around nicely.
    🙂
