I’ll see what cables I can find online.

Many thanks for your help, John.

Thanks for the reply, John

There is a port that looks very similar, marked iS400. Is that also a mini-firewire?

Well done Leslie for figuring that out and passing it on. I’m sure someone else will have this problem.

Hi John

I’ve used Vegas, without any plug-ins, to edit files from Panasonic’s HDC-SD100EBK and Sony’s CX11E. Both cameras output .mts files.

I have no live buttons on a sub-menu screen.

I suspect there are a few ways around this. One way I’ve done this is to click/select a link from another menu/screen and press Ctrl+C (copy) then returned to the screen without a button, clicked on the screen to select it, and pressed Ctrl+V (paste).

Then go to the properties of the newly pasted link to make the relevant changes.

Hi John

Have you tried saving the DVD to your hard drive then burning the disk from there?

• Dave: Again, all your points make absolute sense.

Potentially, the cost of asking for a one-off proof will be more than getting the 100 copies made so I guess my best approach is to minimise the risk by keeping all your points in mind.

Dave, many thanks!

Eric: What is DVDA Pro?

It’s DVD Architect Pro: https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/dvdarchitectpro

The copy protection button needs to be check ON

The option is a drop-down in DVDA. Disc copyrighted (Yes/No) then Copy generations (None/One/Unlimited)

Regards
Dave
