Hi- Thanks for the reply. I will give this a try! I am just trying to make bullet points appear on audio cues. I thought it would be easier to have sliders to affect the timing of each bullet point dissolving in instead of doing an edit at each point.
thanks!

Hey I know I’m late to the party, but I recommend using ONE camera- your best camera, and edit the video! That way all your shots will match. Of course you’ll have to plan out every step of the process…
good luck

“Thank you….I have since found out that pretty much all stations ONLY accept Beta!!! Now, I’m on the hunt to find someone with a deck that will convert minidv to beta….this is why I stick to creative editing straight to DVD, no questions asked. I appreciate your help. I knew I wouldn’t have the right equipment.”
EditorGirl:
There are plenty of places to take your finished miniDV tape and bump it up to Beta…don’t let your lack of equipment hold you back…(and DON’T take that the wrong way!)
Thanks

Hi Randy:
I hav a quick question about the Sony DSR60 tape deck and I’m hoping you’re the guy that knows the answer! You said you use the QSDI for dubbing, etc. DO you know if those cards (QSDI ) also output standard uncompressed SDI? I am thinking of buying one for my DSR60 to feed into an Aja I/O SDI, but I’m not sure the QSDI includes regular SDI..? Any idea?thanks!

Look at the “settings” and field order…I have seen bad graphics with “lower field first’…and when it’ set to “none” it looks a whole lot better!
