The exact same thing happened to me. I received excellent tech. support from Keith and the problem disappeared. It returned later though.

Yes the field dominance is set to NONE. This happens whether the playhead is both playing and paused. The pause settings in the AJA control panel are set to full frame. I changed the settings to single field but nothing changed. I have not applied any filters. Thanks for your responses guys.

I used a small digital camera to record what I see on the monitor and put it on YouTube 🙂

Hi, the first picture is a Boris Title 3D graphic that I am playing out to the monitor from the viewer. I have not put it on the timeline.

The second picture is a close up of the edge of a client’s suit where his shirt and tie meet. This I am playing from the timeline.

I took these stills off the screen by holding a Fujifilm Finepix Z still camera close to areas that show the stair stepping. 🙂

Hi guys, I am not getting an Aja Kona 3G 1080p 25 setting in the video playback settings in Final cut. The closest I am getting is 1080psf25. I set the format in the Kona panel to 1080p25 and got the warning (P) formats are rare, you may want to progressive (sf). The jaggies remain.

I just set the output to Aja kona 3G 1080 psf 8 bit 1920 x1080 but there was no change.
