I got it from MacVidCards and I used Kexthelper and installed the ATI_Init kext to enable the card. Rob If you could find those files that would be great.

Rob,

I managed to get it to boot now but as soon as I start Resolve Lite 8.1.1 or Premiere Pro 5 the machine hangs. System profiler also reports Vram as 512M for both cards. Is it a bad 285?

I am still waiting to get the proper driver installation procedure for the GTX285/GT120 combo for the MacPro 2006 from you. (I am using Snow Leopard)

On netkas.org there are references to the: ATY_Init, GTX drive enabler for Nvidia and multiple Ati cards, Ndvidia Retail Mac Driver Installer, Cuda driver. Kindly outline what exactly is needed and what the procedure is.

said the package includes a software disc to enable the GTX285.

I received the GT120 and GTX285 Davinci package for 1st gen Macs but the package came without the installation disc. Could you kindly send it?
