Another option for you. I have good results with this keyer. There is a demo available.

Annu,
You may want to start a new post as this is a somewhat different topic. People that respond will want to know what your sequence settings are, and how you intend to distribute the final video. Is it for broadcast, the web, DVD? Is the DVD footage being edited together with other footage? If so just match the capture codec to the rest of the footage.Good luck,

One quick look at the FAQ section would have answered this question. It is in section “A” item #!. It was very nice of some folks to jump in and offer help, but the OP could have done a bit of homework.

Thanks for the tips, Chris. I didn’t now about the frame size issue. I agree, great deal for the price! The new version has new players that allow for full screen playback option.
Thanks,

Hi Chris,
This is a bit OT, but somewhat related to the opening post. I use Video2SWF and I’m curious about your statement, ” but it works quite well when you get the settings right.” Do you have some tips regarding settings? I’m OK with my current SWF files, but they could be better. Do you just jack the bit rate up, or are you doing something else? Currently I drop QT reference movies in from FCP as a source and compress SWFs from those. Thanks,

What codec you use depends a lot upon your system and RAID setup. DVCPro HD would be fine, but it also depends on what you need to deliver to the client. How are you distributing the finished show? The ProRes codecs are very clean, too. The camera doesn’t have SDI out, so component is your option, unless you get a converter like one from Convergent Designs.

Yes, you can capture component video and control deck via firewire.
