Best Green Screen plug-in?
Hello. We are having this little project where we need to shoot few footages against green screen and we have come to the point where there is no use for FCP or Motions build-in filters and now we are looking for some third party plug-ins. I have found few nice plug-ins but they are all saying that they “are the best” available but before buying one I would like to hear what are you people suggesting.

I was just testing that and it really looks good. And it’s not even very expensive. But thanks for telling me about that pro version, I didn’t see that first.

I 2nd DV Matte Blast. I bought and it works very nice and quick right in FCP. But, the best green-screen keyer that I have is Keylight in After Effects. A bit cleaner, but it has slightly more workflow.

We use “ultimatte advantage” by ultimatte.

It’s expensive: $1,500. But, it works with BOTH FCP and After Effects. It handles fine details like frizzy hair better than anything else we’ve tried.

I second Mark. It’s pricey, but nothing touches Ultimatte. Some things are worth paying proper money for. If you have a pro business, and do a lot of keying, you should be prepared to pay for this – like most products, it will pay for itself in a few jobs in time saved and client satisfaction.
