Can you navigate to the project from the desktop level? If so, try copying the entire project folder, and pasting it into the ‘shared’ part of your avid projects.

Boris Continuum Complete has a pretty good film plug-in. It is usually used for a more film damage look, but you can control the parameters to give you a less extreme look. It also has separate controls for dirt, scratches, etc.

Not sure if this will help, but somebody told me to mixdown the audio in the timeline before exporting it for dvd. Try the audio mixdown and see if it works.
