Hey thanks to all of you,

I figured that most people would say to get it from the camera with tons of light but I will also try the frame dropping technique as well. Thanks again.

Can you explain what exactly you’re trying to do or what look you’re trying to achieve?

If you mean particles getting closer or farther you can keyframe the solid that they’re on by using the scale up or down to appear closer or farther. But I’m not exactly what effect you’re going for.

Hey, that worked Jonathan! I was looking at every drop down in there for the word “fill” but just like you said it was “Filled Bezier”.

    Thanks much!

    Hmm?

I’m not sure what you mean Jon, right when you click your first point with the pen tool in the title, the fill automaticaly gets sellected. You can change the color and thickness of the line you just drew but there doesn’t appear to be any way to “fill” the center of the drawn shape like a paint bucket would do in photoshop for example.

Unless I’m missing a step in there.

    Thanks Chris,

I did watch that tutorial but he uses pre made shapes to create the matte and I need to draw around the head and shoulders of the actor (does not need to animate).

The title creation does have a pen tool that you can draw around the head and shoulder with but it just leaves a line where you draw, you can adjust the thickness of the line but unless I’m missing something it doesn’t create a matte or mask in the center of the lines you draw like the pen tool in After Effects does.

If I’m missing something please let me know. Thanks!

Hmmmm? I’m still not sure when I add the effects, before I begin editing the spot or after the video is done except for the FX.

Unfortunatly I only have Premiere Pro 2.0, but I do have CS4 AE.

You know Steve, I downloaded AE from the website and don’t have the disc and I can’t find anything like that in any of my AE CS4 program files. I do see the existing plug in effects but not the CC Effects. Hmmmm?

But where do I install them from Steve? Much appreciated.
