OOPS, I meant in the Media Express preferences. The capture settings have to match the source material, res and framerate.

I would try changing the framerate to 29.97 in your control panel or anything until the video shows up in media express.

Unfortunatly, you do have to re-render the whole thing.

Have you changed the captured video directory to the new drive? What kind of drive is it? What format are you capturing to? Motion JPEG I hope, unless it’s a raid drive. Danny Hays

Try making the markers in the timeline instead of the trimmer. Then those keyboard shortcuts will work.

I have always called it the curser, and under options/ preferences, there’s an option to change what the space bar does. Pause or return to start point, which is where it is set by default.

The only one that has said to work with the Shutle is the HP Envy 15.

As cheap as external USB 2 drives are now, I would get one for your scratch disk, as it’s new and probably faster than that old IDE drive, and you’d fill up that old 40 gig drive guick with video. Danny Hays
