If you don’t already has a solid state drive for you media files, get one. Makes all the difference. Effects that effect all pixels, you wont see much of a difference.

September 9, 2017 at 12:30 am in reply to: Vegas Pro 13.0 audio editing issues (track FX and playback rate issues)24 tracks with effects maybe hard on your CPU, depending on your latency settings. Has this worked on this PC before?
Try opening a normal preset and customizing it and saving it again.Danny Hays

If Vegas doesn’t have a render preset to match your videos, 4K,50 fps, You can select the closest preset, customize preset and manually typing 50 in the frame rate box. You can also do this with frame size by selecting custom and typing in the resolution boxes. Hope this helps.

September 8, 2017 at 11:35 pm in reply to: Extracting Individual MKV Audio Channels from Audio TracksIf you have a multi channel, more than five audio interface, and have a surround system, you can always record the five channels from a sound card that has individual output channels. There are some MKV rip apps available. Make sure your not ripping a copy-written file.

I’ve seen posts about this problem many times. Mostly with gamer’s that use a really high frame rate screen capture app. Have you seen any 1080 60p youtube videos with that much detail, (Green landscape) with that kind of fast motion without pixelization issues? I suggest you make several 30 second samples rendered at different formats and bitrates, then upload each and see which gives you the best results. Also are you downloading the youtube videos with this problem to see if it’s a streaming issue. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

I’m sure you know someone with a Go Pro camera. Or you can download some from YouTube using a free YouTube down loader, but it’ll be highly compressed and wont give you a real feel of what it’s like to edit native 4K footage.
You can also try Vimeo. People with a paid account have the ability to upload 4k, then down load the same stock footage for a week If I remember.Danny Hays
