It seems like you added the effect to the track effects instead of event effects. Each event has an effect icon where you can just effect that event.

Right click on an audio event, switches, normalize. This will analize the whole waveform and boost it just before it clips. You can always just click on the top of each audio event and lower the blue line for the volume of that event. If you have a spike in a waveform, you may need to use and audio compresor or audio editor like Sound Forge to edit that spike.

We need more specifics. You can Normalize, use a Volume envelope or a compressor can automatically lower the louder portions of an audio track or event.

Due to the fish eye look, it looks like this was shot with a GoPro. My Hero 3 black can shoot 1080p60 and 720p120. But the very slow motion parts are to smooth without a faster frame rate camera, or software that creates new frames from the before and after frames. Vegas can force resample and create frames like this.

Flash is going out fast. But if you need a flash version of a video, just upload it to youtube. Then use Keepvid to download from youtube. It will give you several different formats and resolutions, depending on the resolution you up loaded to choose from. Flash and MP4 are in the list.

Try narrowing the bandwith (Q) of the 4th eq filter as narrow as it will go and sweep the frequency untill the hiss is gone.

It plays back the formats listed in the control panel and Media Express. It won’t playback AVCHD or HDV for example. Anything you capture with it, will playback on it.

What camera did you use and what format did you capture as?

May I ask why are you using an external audio editor? I have a Tm-700 and a HDC-SDT750, both 5.1 audio. If I don’t need midi instruments or have to fix pops or clicks, I could probably stay in Vegas. Vegas 1 and 2 were audio only. It supports directx and vst pluggins. But can you select the one audio track, event and hit the U key. that unlocks it from the other audio tracks and video as well. then try opening it in an external editor. By the way, your camera can capture at 1080 60p right? Vegas allows us to make custom project and render presets to work with those files. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
