    Hey

    Thanks for the feedback

    ok two questions

    1. I need to send the mpeg 2 to a client so they can view it on their computer and they only require mpeg 2 — i don’t want to send it to them seperately with the audio.

    2. on squeeze there are numerous options … I.E. lg, dvdlg etc… and when you are in the settings window — do I set it on program or elementary and which option do I choose: lg, dvdlg etc..,

    Please Help

    Hey

thanks for gettign back to me —-

ok — so if I decide to go for method One — duplicatign the two audio layer tracks — 1 and 2 onto track 3 and 4- —

tell me if this is correct —

AUDIO TOOL —– then click output settings —– and make sure the audio output is on

but then when I am in there — there are four options of audio

    4 tracks —

    4 tracks —-

    8 tracks —

not tooo sure can;t remember —-

please could you tell me a step by step on how to do this — a guide —- i looked through avid help does not help one bit —

In addition, one more question —- the studio has already mix down the audio and given it to me —
do I need to convert it to mono as most tv stations require mono — as the music studio already mixed it down for me — do i have to do it in avid — if so could you tell me how cause i am not sure where to press to convert — i am a final cut user and yes you may hear that alot but please help me on this its getting frustrating

will be awaiting for your reply

    cheers mate

    Hey

I will be editing on both final cut pro and avid media composer — depends i guess

    the footage is offline

so if it is offline — what would the size normally be — for a 30 second to 1 min clip

and if is online — what would the size normally be —- for a 30 second to 1 min clip

and would the best size be — 720 x 576
