What do you guys mean by springing masks?
I don’t get that when drawing a mask.
I Left click to start the mask and set points, then when I want to close it hit the middle mouse button and it all closes up nice and easily.

Hi Chad,
Resolve Lite only supports one GPU.
Please do send me your Resolve Logs if you’d like me to look into it for you.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,

Hi Clayton,
Resolve does not read embedded alpha channels currently.
The best route forward is to get him to output a DPX file of the mattes.
The benefit of this is you can have one matte in each channel so one in Red one in Green and one in Blue etc..
I think this is the best way forward for you but if you have any more questions please do drop me a mail at davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com
Thanks!

October 3, 2011 at 8:25 am in reply to: Can I split screen the color page viewer with an offline cut without using the Resolve control surface.Hi Sascha,
On the conform page it is already possible to do this. If you right click on the offline viewer it will give you various options on how you would like to view it, wipes / mixes etc.. and both playback simultaneously.
I use this for all resizing checks etc..
Hope this helps!

In theory it’s as easy as this :
Press CMD+G to bring up the remote grade option.
Input the IP address (this is the external IP address of your network to the world not the internal network IP)
A nice easy way to find out your IP is go to this site :
Then select the port that you will be using.
(You will also need to set up your router for port forwarding)
there is a nice description of what that means here :
https://portforward.com/help/portforwarding.htm
This should connect your Resolve systems!
You can use VPN’s etc.. but the way I described is pretty simple to work out.
Let me know if you need any more help!
Cheers,
D
