  • You can do it with the Element 3D plugin, but you need a 3D model that already has all the pieces separated or pre-fractured. Probably easier to do it in an actual 3D program.

You need to install Premiere CS6 (included with Cloud subscription) in order to get Encore. From Encore you can create the ISO file.

You need to click the little sun button on your layer to Collapse Transformations.

So you want to stabilize the shot of the soldiers and composite it onto the other shot? To stabilize a shot in After Effects, you can use the Stabilize Motion button in the Tracker. Or you can track a point using the Track Motion button (or points), apply the track to a null object, and parent your layer to that null.

However, in the panning shot you showed, there is only a small part that is in both the beginning frame and end frame. Taking out the motion would involve zooming in probably over 500%, which would make the shot unusable in many ways.

What version of Premiere are you using? And are you using proxies? I recall that happening to me a few years ago and I believe it was a bug in CC2015 pertaining to proxies in that situation.

  • Was the video exported to ProRes on a Mac, or on a PC using a third-party encoder or plugin? You can try software called MediaInfo to view detailed codec information. I haven’t used it, but I’ve known editors who have… Hopefully that will give you some answers.

I would use this script to speed up the set up of your layers. To write on the equations, you will want to draw masks over the numbers/symbols and use the Stroke effect. Keyframe the End parameter at zero then move forward the appropriate amount of time and set it to 100. Change Paint Style to Reveal Original Image.

Deconstruct your logo using Particular, and then pre-compose everything and time-reverse your precomp layer.

  • Premiere will automatically export using the original media files. It will never export with proxies unless you manually offline the originals.
