I think the original poster created the video and is fishing for YouTube likes…

To make a seamless loop, you will want to keyframe the position of your road moving into the horizon and make sure the first frame matches the last frame. Then you can use a loopOut expression to make it loop forever.

  • I haven’t run into this before, but if you are looking to just get smooth, realtime playback that you can record then perhaps you can use Dynamic Link to import the composition to Premiere and render in the timeline. Then it should play back in real time and you could record it. Test it out on a 5 second clip first, as Dynamic Link render times can go pretty high.

Try stabilizing it after you speed it up. Depending on your settings, Warp Stabilizer won’t remove all the movement, but just smooth it out, so speeding speeding up the footage will still make the movement more noticeable and appear as a shake.

If you just want to make the edges less distinct, select your solid and double-click the Rectangle Tool. This will add a mask around the edges of your solid. Then hit the “m” key twice to open your mask options and decrease the mask expansion. Then add some mask feathering. It will blend until you hit the edge of your solid and then you will see the clear edge. If that happens, either decrease the mask expansion more or increase the overall size of your solid.

Which version of Premiere are you using? It looks like the same issue with merged clips was fixed in the latest CC update.

  • You mean the actual video file sizes change outside of Premiere?? Never heard of that before. Premiere caches preview files and generates audio conform files, which can quickly take up a large chunk of space, but that doesn’t affect the original video file.

I’ve worked on projects with hours of footage and hundreds of assets and never noticed it becoming more unstable. Thankfully, I think those days from FCP7 are over. 🙂

I’ve run into several issues in CS6 on El Capitan. Creative Cloud apps work better, but still some bugs. If you don’t need to upgrade, I would hold off. I find El Capitan incredibly buggy, even outside of Adobe products.

Put your rotoscoped footage over your colorful footage and set the colorful footage to alpha matte.
