  • Adding video from source to timeline – not linked

Usually when I add video to the timeline from the source window (dragging after setting in/out points) the audio and video are linked. For some reason, this is no longer happening, so when I drag some footage in, I have to manually link the audio to the video. Super annoying. The “Linked Selection” is enabled in the timeline and the link works once I manually create it.

    Thanks!

Which version of Premiere are you using? It looks like the same issue with merged clips was fixed in the latest CC update.
