hey dave, wow those are some scary stats!

theyve offered to get me a separate external hard drive for the project, do u think that could help much? ive got a pci firewire card, but dont think it has firewire 800.

Thanks for that, much appreciated. Do you know where i could find the project files for that tutorial? i just want to see exactly how he did the building effect as he only goes over it very briefly in the tutorial…

hey mike,

thanks sooo much, this is awesome! combining that clever script with your expression really does do exactly what i asked and so easily too, its really clever. i wish i could understand expressions fully!

out of interest is there a way i can save that expression as a preset, so i can just apply that to a video layer in future? ive never learnt how to actually make a preset…

Im going through the stuff now, but if you did have a preset you could email me to check out that would be great as im having a little difficulty at the moment!

basically i want to be able to effectively crop the layer so that when it tiles, they are all quite close to each other….if that makes sense?
