We are sending it through the Compressor window, and it’s going through at

H.264
640 x 363 is being stretched to 854 x 363

While in QT Pro 7 it remains 640 x 363,

The aspect ratio used in Compressor is .75

Let me know if that helps.

The iChat theatre feature is going to be sooooo useful, and all the prores proxy editing, how sweet is that! I just hope integration with other apps has gotten smoother too!

To achieve the AVC Intra I would need to get the AJ-YBX200G board for the camera, correct?

So the 1080 59.94i to 24P or 24PA is achieving what we know as 1080P just through using segmenting the fields, thus removing any of the interlacing that might happen otherwise. The fields are progressive but it is removing any motion between the two segments that are interlaced, so we aren’t as likely to see the interlacing that is going on.

So much information, but it’s very interesting stuff. But at the end of the day, I want to upgrade my HPX-2000 to the AVC Intra board to achieve real progressive scanning vs. the PsF scanning?

Thanks for the answers Jeff & Gary, yeah I guess I was wondering if the 1080 59.94 to 24P is considered 1080P? or is that still 1080i on the HPX-2000?

Thanks, do you have any suggestions on what settings I should use to shoot the bullets from point A which won’t change much, to Point B which will change along the x,y,z axis’?
