I am trying to use a dot in my logo to create a bullet being shot from a machine gun. I would like to simplify the motion for creating maybe 50 + bullets being shot in a couple seconds, so that the {x,y,z) coordinates are roughly the same where the bullet starts, but the bullet ends randomly at the ending (x,y,z) coordinates.

I was thinking of using trapcode echospace or something like that, any advice on how to simplify this action? Thanks!

Particular. You could make the emitter be controlled by a light. Make the size of the emitter very small, but the spotlight’s spread wide enough to hit the space you want.

Thanks, do you have any suggestions on what settings I should use to shoot the bullets from point A which won’t change much, to Point B which will change along the x,y,z axis’?

Are you viewing the bullets from the side or looking at your target like you are actually holding the gun. This will determine where you put your emitter.

Using Particular, use a point emitter, change it to directional, change the spread to 0 to line up the direction toward your target by rotating the emitter in the x,y,and z axis. Then, simply change the spread angle until the rounds spread out enough to your taste. You can mess with velocity and even have the rounds die when they hit your layer if you change the settings to bounce and use your target layer as a wall or floor.

    Best of luck
