The iChat theatre feature is going to be sooooo useful, and all the prores proxy editing, how sweet is that! I just hope integration with other apps has gotten smoother too!

No Blu-ray update for DVDStudio Pro?

There’s talk of Blu-Ray via compressor and FCP, yet nothing in DSP?

Fingers crossed there’s more to come.

That’s upsetting, I guess we still have to go through a third party or something? But I like the new Share feature and the new automatic transfer feature, very nice updates

Blu-ray support is included, including Blu-ray menus.

burn a Blu-ray disc or a DVD, with a choice of Apple-designed menu templates.

You do it directly from Compressor adding the menus in Compressor.

    All the best,

    Tom

Blu-ray support is not blu-ray authoring.

Burning a disk with apple designed templates is not going to get me very far.

Can I include ISAN numbers? Create a CFM?

Maybe I am jumping in too fast.. and theres more news to come.. but for me, this is a HUGE dissapointment.

On a plus side, shadows in motion ..YAY.

I am curious to see if this is really an improvement:

    Improved media management
Use the Media Manager to archive media and projects with confidence. It’s been optimized to improve media trimming, especially for clips with speed changes, multicam clips, and anamorphic media.

[chris gormlie] “Blu-ray support is not blu-ray authoring. “

Why is everybody so surprised. As I’ve said multiple times in this very forum, Apple has been pretty clear about their intentions regarding BluRay authoring.
