    One way:

    x = clamp(value[0],0,200);
    y = clamp(value[1],0,200);
    [x,y]

  • Give this a try:

    freq = 1.0; //oscillations per second
    amplitude = 50;
    decay = .7;

    t = Math.max(time – inPoint, 0);
    amplitude*Math.sin(freq*t*2*Math.PI)/Math.exp(decay*t)

    I think we’re going to need more info on what you want the flower petals to do.

    In your first expression, try replacing || with &&. You need an “and” operation there instead of an “or”.

    In general, if you’re only worried about overlap in the x direction, you could do it like this:

    x = thisComp.layer(“Null 5”).transform.position[0];
    if (x > toWorld([0,0])[0] && x < toWorld([width,0])[0]) 0 else 100 Dan

    Try this for the layer’s y rotation property:

    delta = toWorld(anchorPoint) – thisComp.activeCamera.toWorld([0,0,0]);
    radiansToDegrees(Math.atan2(delta[0],delta[2]))

    Depending on what you’re after, it might be as simple as something like this:

    posterizeTime(3);
    wiggle(5,200)

    Have you tried wiggle? I’d set the opacity to 50% and then use something like this:

    wiggle(0.5, 50)

    I think try/catch is what you’re looking for. Example:

    try{
    C = thisComp.activeCamera;
    }catch(err){
    C = null;
    }

    Ah, AE 6.5. This should work:

    length(pointOfInterest, toWorld([0,0,0]))

    If you have the POI where you want focus to be, this should work:

    length(transform.pointOfInterest, toWorld([0,0,0]))
