    Hi Cow.

I have searched the archive for an expression to randomly animate opacity on a layer, but haven’t found what I am looking for.

I just need an expression that animates randomly, the opacity of a layer – fading in and out over approximately 2 seconds. A nice, subtle random fade/dissolve.

I know this may be very simple, however, I am horrible with expressions. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried wiggle? I’d set the opacity to 50% and then use something like this:

    wiggle(0.5, 50)

    So simple.

    Thank you, Dan.
