Yes, that is how it is supposed to work.
Utilizing the proxy workflow properly involves setting up projects using original 4k media, so Premiere will always ask where it is. When you initially open projects on your 2nd proxy-only system, then point Premiere to the proxies, then hit command-S, it should update where it looks for the proxies when you open up the project the next day (i.e. it will stop looking for proxies on your original system). It will still ask for the full resolution media each time you open the project, but that should be an easy one-click “offline all” move, and the project should open on your 2nd system with your clips online and linked to proxy media on that system.

Jake, I was unable to get Premiere 2014 to run on my early 2008 Mac Pro. I’m running 10.9.3 with an AMD 5770 graphics card, getting the error, “Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again.”
Then it crashes, and now, no BS, no applications are launching on my mac at all… keep having to force shutdown.

I wish I miraculously stumbled upon the solution. My copy/pasted masks are all distorted horizontally.

This is the feature we want:
“I would like to be able to delete master clips in the project panel without deleting them from sequences in my project.”
I cannot tell you how much easier this would make my life.

I had identical issues. I upgraded to CS6 and have not had them since. 5.5.2? That’s been out for a while man!
Unfortunately you’ve lost work. I did too and tried everything under the sun to get it back and nothing worked. You find something, I’d be interested to hear what it is.

I got it. I had created an ‘exclusion layer’ and had THAT layer selected when I clicked export… and so it was exporting garbage essentially.

I have this same problem… though I don’t have any anchor point keyframes.
