  • My mistake, the program still exists: https://download.cnet.com/MacOSaiX/3000-18488_4-27011.html

  • Yes, that’s the exact effect I’m looking for! Although MacOSaiX doesn’t seem to exist anymore, I’m guessing other programs similar to that will do the trick. Thank you!

Thank you! The “Replace the file” shortcut change worked!

But I still can’t get “Add to Render Queue” to work. I see in the shortcuts that it’s the command I changed it to, but it’s still not working. Oh well… guess I’ll just deal with it!

Thanks for the tip! I tried this, but it did not work for me. Perhaps because we have Creative Cloud??

I am not seeing this text file you’re referring to. Where is this Preferences file? I went to Finder and opened the System Preferences and clicked on the General tab, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to adjust??

    Hello again,

So I tried changing the settings in the PCI Bridge app, but that didn’t solve my problem. I have this ONE project that plays clunky and the rest of the projects play fine. It’s very odd. I rendered out a Quicktime movie and it still plays clunky.

I had my co-worker take the Quicktime movie into his FCP and it plays fine! We just cannot figure out why its playing back so clunky on my system. Any other suggestions?

    Thank you!

Well, I finally resolved the problem! For those that have AJA LHe:

I called AJA tech support and they sent me a text file and told me to follow these steps:

    1. Quit FCP and Kona control Panel

    2. Take the .txt from the attached (for those that want the txt file, you can email me at crys94ATyahooDOTcom) and go to

    3. Library > Applications Support > FCP System Support > Plugins

    4. Drop it there, restart, and launch FCP

After that, they told me to download the latest update, KONA LH/LHe Drivers Version 5.1 NDD.

Before dropping in the text file, you might want to try the update first and see if that solves your problem. Ever since I followed these steps, everything has been working great!
