Best way of animating pictures into one big mosaic image?
I have at least 2,000 photos I need to fit into a 60-second video. I don’t have to use them all, but as much as possible. One of the options was to have a bunch of pictures animating into one big mosaic image. Like this: https://www.collagepeople.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/collage-maker-free.jpg
Is there an easy way to do this in AE? Or is there a software out there that will do this? I know there are lots of free programs out there that create the collage, but as a still and not animated.

Can you describe what kind of animation you intend to do?
Things like picture resolution and how close to the camera they will appear can change everything.meybe this can get you started : mosaic tutorial

Yes, that’s the exact effect I’m looking for! Although MacOSaiX doesn’t seem to exist anymore, I’m guessing other programs similar to that will do the trick. Thank you!
