It definitely has some cool features. Lots of skeumorphism still. I really hate those dials. It makes sense in the real world when you’re adjusting with your fingers but in a digital world on a Wacom… not so much.

Can’t you use one of the Thunderbolt ports and a Thunderbolt chassis for any needed expansion?

The way this post starts off makes me think of Neo in the last scene of The Matrix. I guess that’s one way of looking at them. Was that intended or am I just watching too much movies and TV?

That’s good. I’m glad you’re happy also. Run with that. I was just saying you oversimplified things by putting people into two categories of why they made the choices they did. You don’t really have to keep preaching that same innovate argument.

The second and third issues sound like they may be conflicts with something else installed. Have you come across anyone else with those exact same problems?

I have both Premiere and FCPX and I prefer Premiere. I also like the way Dennis with Adobe (and others) come onto this board and answer questions. It shows me they are listening. Of course Larry Jordan says that the Apple team tells him they are listening but it’s not the same. BTW, why is it unlawful for Apple guys to come here and address us directly?

The PC side is banking on people wanting to touch their screens. I don’t want to touch my screen on a laptop or workstation.

You mentioned Noise Industries. Will they have that AE-like work around for transitions with the new version of Premiere?

Why aren’t there more plugins for Premiere? I asked that question last year at NAB without satisfaction. Was there more plugins released at this years NAB? Some of the transitions that worked easily in FCPX had crazy work-a-rounds in Premiere.
