I think I may have gotten it solved using MPEGstreamclip. It’s the only thing that will play it back though. I’m sending. We’ll see.

Honestly, I’m an artist and I have no idea what I’m looking at with this ff.works. Nice looking gui but I see no obvious convert this file to avi uncompressed buttons. I see all kinds of codecs I’ve never seen before but no avi. There’s avui, avrp, ayuv but no avi.

This is crazy. I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to convert this file to avi. Am I missing something really obvious? It shouldn’t be this complicated. And why would systems need avi only in 2018?

Thanks Steve and Walter for your help. I’ve learned a lot. So does this work differently for projection?

  • ” I am hip to keyword and keyword collections. Could you do a short tutorial/demo between the two programs for your workflow?”

I’m sure most people by now have seen Thomas Grove Carter’s demos. You don’t think that is a good account of how fast and efficient keywording can be in FCPX? I’m not sure anyone could do it much better.

Looks pretty interesting to me. I’m interested to hear Ubillos’ thoughts. I’ve never seen an interview with him talking about his thinking on FCPX.

Interesting… Noticed that I had to adjust the front end by 1 frame to get that same smooth motion. Strange.

Just updated and notice that the Flow transition doesn’t look as good. Now it looks like a crappy dissolve. A previous render under 10.3.2 looks smooth, this doesn’t.

[Oliver Peters] “Even Premiere Pro CC 2015 has picked up some of this aesthetic with the introduction of the Lumetri Color Panel (controls on the right, scopes on the left).”

    Wasn’t Lightroom already doing this?

While I like Netflix and their original programming, I’ve been waiting for this battle for a while now. Hopefully Apple with AppleTV can make better deals. I see no reason why I can’t watch my favorite Hitchcock film anytime I want without searching across the whole internet and possibly picking up a virus in the process. If it’s digital, it should be available.
