Guess I’ll have to wait another year for 13. It’s a pity because its such a beautiful UI. But I need my scrub and JKL to be fast and responsive.

Really, your fans don’t crank up? What about when you scrub the timeline? Also, do you have any issue with audio when importing different codecs like mxf?

I know it’s beta but it still doesn’t seem too responsive on a new Macbook Pro.

  • Lol. That clip sums up beautifully what I was thinking about this thread.

In my recent projects I don’t have that many assets and I have been getting the same “Serious Error” messages. For a very important project I was working on for our shareholders, I lost count of the crashes but every other crash or so I would re-save/name the project. The final ended up being version 10. So by my estimates I had at least 20. Prior to that I had red frame issues and audio dropouts. I need stability. I don’t need one more new feature before then.

    Hey Dennis,

A lot of folks edit on their Retina MacBooks and other laptops. How about Adobe make it so PP is more stable with these computers? I don’t think we should have to buy desktop machines to get stability. When my company used to edit with FCP 7 it was rock solid on laptops.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I guess I will just add another multi-grouping field.

[Scott Witthaus] “I add it’s crashes, interface, lack of speed with large file types, and general “plastic feel” can be added to my dislike list. Resolve 11 looks like a better successor going forward.”

What crashes? I don’t know of any speed issues either.

I’m getting all kinds of weird stuff on my Retina MBP. While I did expect a 1.0 editor, this more weirdness than I thought.
