I just looked at my co-worker’s computer and the effect works on her new MBP. She’s running the same OS but has yet to upgrade her PP CC since downloading. I believe it’s 7.1. I’m thinking it has to be the 7.2.1 upgrade. Any Adobe folk out there?

Yeah that’s what I’m running too.

Interesting. I decided to try it out today for the first time after the update. I notice that I can’t transcode anything. It keeps failing “AME Source Error”. Definitely not a good first time experience for me. Is this because of the update or was it like this before?

This is pretty awesome. I always hear people say that they work so much faster in X. Has anyone ever done a comparison video of the same project done in X and PP? I don’t know if it would be the same editor that is efficient in both or two different editors but I think it would have to be the same project with a split screen. I would love to see that. Just not as fast as this video though.

Who puts their trash can that far under/behind their desk? And why would it have wires?

I get it. It’s kinda funny initially but who would “get on with their life” after getting that? LOL Anyways, I can certainly laugh at Apple or anyone else but to me it’s kind of silly. That guy is no pro user. That’s for sure.

It’s a shame they keep going in his office and unplugging all the cables out of that thing just to use it as a rolling pin and such. lol

They used to show tutorials using PP where you couldn’t apply transitions between two clips as normal. I think you hand to have them on different tracks or something. Has that changed? Do transitions now work normally? I actually asked Dennis about this on this forum and he mentioned that users needed to contact the plugin makers.

[Oliver Peters] “NI is also working on two fronts – FCP X and Premiere Pro. Therefore many of the plug-ins work in FCP 7, FCP X, Motion, AE and PPro”

But don’t you have to do some nasty work-around for the PP plugs? I hate that.
