I’ve tried a few more models and have had some luck, thank you very much. Anybody have any tips on tweaking the 3D model in Boris?

That sounds promising, thanks Mark. I never thought to try a different 3D Model :/ I’ll try out out some more files and see how it goes. I’ll keep you posted.

I don’t suppose anyone has had a chance to examine this? I would love to work with my 3D Models without using AE or Hitfilm. Thanks in advance!

.avi with transparency always works. Just a larger file size.

Thanks for the response Peter. I just tried it in the standalone title studio with no luck. It still crashed.

My current version is 10.0.3.950

I’m working on a i7 Surface Book with power base.

I would love to see if you can get it to work on your system. I haven’t had much luck with Boris support :/

Can I just say something very obvious here. Sony no longer owns Vegas. They ignored it for so long without any relevant updates. Magix JUST bought it so everyone is going to have to give them some time to address issues, and I am confident they are taking Vegas more seriously than Sony did.

I have the Vegas 14 suite and am having no issues (been using since 10.) It’s still the fastest editing experience I’ve used.

For me, switching from Vegas to ANY NLE but Premiere, FCP, or Avid is just a waist. They are the industry standards.

If you’re willing settle for Resolve, you might as well save your time and “settle” for Vegas lol

I use GoAnimate then bring it into Vegas. It’s hard to beat GoAnimate quality.

I am currently using two external monitors with Vegas 14. Two monitors hooked up to Surface Book. Everything works great to me. What issue are you having?

The only issue I have had so far is the eye dropper tool.

Now that we all have Vegas Pro 14 with BCC 10 I thought I would bring 3D models back up ?

Has anyone got into this yet? Boris only allows C4D files (which is fine) but I have been having trouble importing the file. Vegas crashes when I try importing it, so I haven’t got very far :/

I think there is a good possibility I may be doing something wrong or missing a step so if anyone has experience with this that would help a ton.
