    I really appreciate your response but I need to do this in FCP and the Decklink card has an option to do Upconvert.

    Hi,

    Turn off “image and wireframe” and “show overlays” in your Canvas.

    Thank you for your reply. As I am doing 1080i work, I can just lock the HDCAM deck to my card and be all set to go, eh???
