I’m currently on the road doing a corporate video shoot, but I will try to take a few test clips tonight. I’ve mainly been shooting in the standard scene file. I’ll be shooting green screen today with the subject lit so maybe I’ll upload those for you. I’ve recently been doing more wedding videos, and the lighting situation for weddings is usually poor. I’d really like to improve the quality of those shots.

I have my OS drive in the second DVD drive. I have my bays 1 through 4 as a striped raid for my scratch drive. So far it has worked out quite well.

What codec are you editing in? I ran into a similar problem a few months ago and asked the cow for help. I was trying to do a multiclip with 3 DVCPROHD clips. You have to have a fast connection with plenty of bandwidth for all the data to playback smoothly. I fixed my solution by creating an RAID 0 with my four internal bays.

What are your recording settings? What you are shooting in will determine what your import and sequence settings will be.

This has happened to me too. The wave forms are not matching up to the audio I am hearing, and when I look at it in the view and press f to find the original, the music is fine and in its right position.
What I do is bring in a new audio clip from the original. It is annoying to have to do that, but it solves my problem and I can get back to work.
It seems to me that this is a bug within Final Cut.
