Yea, it’s difficult to find. I ran across the application in a form when I search for “repairing mov file”. The repair service uses Treasure to analyze the footage and send the report to service, then you download an application called Repair Kit to fix your file.

I’ll give this a try. The guy doesn’t move around to much so I’m thinking a simple matte created in Photoshop could help out.

Yea, I’m printing on inkjet printable DVDs. I’ll play around with the settings and experiment with the saturation and brightness of the image.

I purchased the Epson Artisan for direct to disk printing. I don’t know why, but my colors look terrible when I print to glossy photo paper and washed out on disks. What quality and color setting settings do you use for your printer?

I believe there is a function on the FS-100 that will repair your files. I’m not certain. I did have this problem months ago and recovered most of my files. If I were you I would contact the guys at Focus Enhancements. They have a service guy that will help you step-by-step.

Thanks Walter for your reply. I did know about the basic template menus compressor can do for bluray, I was just wanting something more customized. I haven’t used encore very much, but I’ll give it a try. Is Toast a better program to invest in and best for authoring than encore? What are the benefits? I’m looking into a few external Bluray drives from Lacie, and one comes bundled with a copy of Toast.

Your sequence settings will be…
960×720 frame size
Pixel Aspect Ratio: HD (960×720)

Really all you need to do is create a new sequence, add your video and final cut will automatically set the right settings for you.

I believe that you need to match your sequence settings for your graphics as well. Make sure same frame size and aspect ratio.

When you export, export with current settings. You will see that once exported, the video is now at 1280×720.
