Send to Color after you’ve completed all edits. Project should pretty much be done and all that is left is the Color grade. Your life will be a lot easier doing it this way.

You’re correct, it is more of an HTML thing. I had to go through something similar with a client. I was looking at different services for training video distribution. I know there are plug-ins for restricted video content on web pages, but I’m not a web site expert. You’ll have better luck posting that in a web development forum.

Why not use something like Vimeo. Password protect your video and disable downloading.

David, thanks for correcting me in my post. You have excellent points in using Media Manager and not simply copying over the other files.
The only thing I dislike about Media Manger is how is does not retain your organized bins in the browser. I’m all about organizing bins into graphics, video, motion graphics, etc, and I don’t like how media manager lumps everything into one folder. My work around is copying my original project file to the external drive, then having to re-link. Is there a more efficient way to do this?

WD Drives and Lacie drives have been good to me. Like Paul said, whatever you go with be sure to have a back up of your assets. All drives will fail on you eventually.

Just out of curiosity, what stabilizing gear do you use with a DSLR in a wedding situation when the bride is coming down the aisle? I purchased a shoulder mount, but I’m not in love with it.

What are you doing with the content of your cards? Definitely keep copies of the card contents and project files. Keep pushing for that storage space. If the footage is important to the company, they need to invest in a storage solution!
I’ve shot with the Vixia HF200 and I use ShotPut Pro to create a clone of the card contents and keep it on my RAID 5. I also have a copy on another hard drive as backup. Do the same with the project files.

I had not seen that tutorial. Very awesome. I’m with you Jim, I’d like to know where I can find more tutorials like that.
I purchased Walter’s DVD on Color. It is more focused on the technical operation and getting used to to new interface, where all the buttons are, etc. It is helpful.
