Yes, your response is understood, but I haven’t touched the zaxwerks camera, nor have i moved the logo either.

For viewing I change camera view from top to right, etc… without actually moving the object around.

Thanks, yes both of you helped a great deal!!! I thought that was really cool of you Jon to suggest further help if I get stuck.

One other thing I was expecting that it’s not doing is with create 3d text…each letter is showing the layer map “individually”, instead of the layer map spreading across the entire word.

His tutorials are some of the best I’ve seen. If he has a training DVD video or something like that out there, let me know where I can find it. That dude’s awesome!!!!

but since he hasn’t focused on layer maps…yet :)…I’m needing help understanding them.

Couldn’t you just use the Text Stroke in AE’s “Text Pallette” for stroke one, and for the second stroke duplicate the text layer, but this time with stroke only and no fill?
Then add your animation to both layers.
