  • ZAXWERKS HELP??? – Same size path and image

Posted by Cmedia on July 23, 2005 at 2:44 am

Ok i made an image in photoshop 2000×1500 and then made paths from that same size document and exporrted to illustrator.

Everything should be the same size now right?

Ok open AE and layer 1 photoshop, and layer two zaxwerks-using illustrator paths. Photoshop layer is 3d, zaxs is set to comp camera.

Ok now I want to create depth with Zaxs, but place the photoshop image on the top, so they should now both be same size and move together with the camera.
Why is zaxs making my 3d illustrator much bigger than the photoshop image, if they are the same size??

The first thing that comes to mind is that the camera in Zaxwerks can be moved anywhere while you are constructing the logo. This adds a variable to the size of the object.

    Thanks for replying.

Yes, your response is understood, but I haven’t touched the zaxwerks camera, nor have i moved the logo either.

For viewing I change camera view from top to right, etc… without actually moving the object around.
