Just started on Dean’s DNA Background tutorial today.
I’ve done many of the Cow’s tutorials, but this is the first time, I got lost a couple paragraphs through.

I’ve never seen this before in any Tutorial or educational AE Training, but could someone share with me as to what the following mean?

What is ais rotation, bis rotation, and cis rotation?

Also while explaining scale and rotation, what is meant by OUT 225×225, IN 50 OUT -50 and so on? Is he saying OUT as in the end of comp duration and the figures are the scale percentages? 225×225 is actually 225% scale?

    Thank you

Don’t worry, these are just a few typos(among even more) in this tute. OUT and IN refer to the in- and out-points of the layer in the timeline and the values are indeed meant for the scale parameter.

Sorry, the typos were my fault. It was one of those copy and paste glitches that in my rush to finish several things at once, I forgot to fix.

    Anyway:
    It should read:

    38.Set the step1a’s rotation to +90

    39.Set the step1b’s rotation to -90

    40.Set the step1c’s rotation to +180

I’ll be going through to find the other typos and will upload the corrected version shortly.
