Go to 12:39 in the video and see if this is what your looking for. He does this really simple, which I assume is what your looking for. You could thicken it up a bit and probably get what your looking for.
Good Luck

Well I suppose it was the lag that bothered me. I am usually able to deal with things like that with no problems but for whatever reason I was anal about it. I think it probably was due to the fact everyone was bashing the X release at that time and so it had me looking at every hiccup as a permanent problem that would never be addressed :(. I do appreciate your input.

First off, I love reading your reviews as they are as detailed and written very well. Kudos! I want to know how the low light performance is, compared to 5D mkIII or II and have you tried the Tokina 11-16 on BMCC. Also by chance has anyone used Zeiss CP.2 18mm?Thanks in advance!

I like you have been awaiting this product ever since it was announced. The possibilities with this plugin for the little guy and the muti-million dollar studios are endless. Not to mention the render speeds. The price is really what shocked me. Andrew has his finger firmly planted on the pulse of the compositing world, that is for sure.Buddy Couch

I will have to check that out then :). The possibilities are amazing there is no doubt about it. It is really fun to live in the times that we do, as I think the most exciting thing to come from my grandfathers generation he couldn’t play with! Maybe landing on the moon, I dunno hehe.

I would suggest vimeo link from your site. The reason is there are sites that allow you to plug in vimeo or youtube address and download the file in different formats. However I am sure quality will suffer somewhat. You are going to kill your internet host offering up 40 min movie in full HD, depending on how widely known your movie and or site is.
Just my 2 cents.

Hello Todd,
I am sorry you missed the chance as well, as it was a great opportunity to mingle with the Canon reps. It was a mad house as people were coming in the door, moving straight to the video section and asking “Where is it?” I knew it had to be the C300, so I then ask if I could see IT, you know the C300 that you have here somewhere :). He said follow the gentlemen downstairs. So…..I go downstairs and the first thing I hear is this “Take your footage and just drop it into your Final Cut timeline and your off and running.” I was thinking that it might not be the best selling point to mention that, considering so many people are in the process of migrating as we speak.
Good luck on finding a demo, I would recommend contacting showcase and asking them how long Canon will be there.

Tangier,
Very well said!Although I went Adobe for the time being, I will keep an eye on what Apple does with FCP X.
