    I live in an area where we have only a few stations. Does what they are doing really affect me with the system. I run all over the town and soon the state. Will me using the system be a problem cause I really don’t have the cash to go buy the A or B freq.

    Well thankfully I have not run into a problem yet. I was going to buy the plug on mic transmitter from the ew 100 series. I hook up from the transmitter from the mic to the receiver in the camera to tape.

    So if you get interference on both wireless and wired what is the best root for picking up audio? Or is it just luck of the draw?

    I am using the Apple HDV 1080i60 preset which uses the sony HDV firewire. The thing is, in the viewer the video plays back fine. Audio is synced up right and video does not stagger. When I drop the video in the time line it start up for half a second then the drop frames window pops up. I have attached what it says. And I have tried to change the unlimited rt to just rt, and nothing. Not sure what it wants me to do with the rest.

    Thanks for any guidance you can give me

    I switched from compressor to flash because after doing test compressions with compressor, the file sizes were bigger than I though I would have space for at first for the site. So I started to dabble in Adobe flash and encoder and the file sizes were more to what I feel we needed. Also people around here who have been helping me said that using flash would be the best way to compress the video down. Also I am starting to do a great deal more work with AE and my partner use adobe everything, so now i am at a point where I gotta decide whether or not to stay with FCP or change over to pre. and hope to have a easy workflow. Now when you say deinterlace would I do that in FCP or in the render settings in encoder?

    Thanks for the help;

    Thanks folks… Quick follow up, is there a huge difference (file size) between the 10 bit uncompress and let’s ani. since that was mentioned as well? Also would this be true as well for exporting the video to be converted to a flash file. Looking at doing a 20 show on the web every week? If not what would be the best to export out for a flash compression and to be on the web. Want to get as close to how nice everything looks on Hulu.

    Awesome, thanks for the response. Just like everyone else, you can never truly catch up with the technology.

    Just incase someone is running into this problem, we found out the problem. My friend bought a memory upgrade and I think it was a 2 GB mem for his imac 20″. We installed, a week later it acted up. Brought it to apple and they said it was too much memory for the computer. (We also left in the 512 he was running before.) Just wanted to say that the Apple store in Syracuse was really helpful and took care of the problem asap! Great job and hope this can help anyone in the future.

    Thanks so much;
