Thanks for the tip on the Frame controls, I used the automatic preset. Not sure if that was the right choice, I just didn’t know how the rest of the controls worked. Any idea if I were to use the custom presets what I should set the numbers to. What I am doing is making a video website showing businesses in the area. Going SD on a Sony FX1 and using a canon XL2. I could go 30p, but then that would cancel out the Sony since it’s the FX1. Thanks again though for the help and guidance!

I believe so, I looked over the settings and it was on lower. I am NTSC. It may have been 480 sorry on that.

My internet was fine on Friday 2 weeks ago, I came back from visiting the in-laws and now it is really slow to load pages. I have cable internet and my imac is fine and my wife’s pc is fine (they run on wireless) I have my G5 hardwired and it’s slow as can be. I have thought about trying to buy a new card. But cash is tight. Just trying to fix it my self. Called the apple store and they said I did everything they could think of except reinstall the OS. Don’t really want to do that.

Thanks Gary, I tried that as well. I restarted and opened the program but it didn’t do anything. It would only verify the permissions not fix it. I did have the computer perform a hard disk scan or something like that. But 4 hrs later it found no errors. So I don’t know. I am hoping I just need a new ethernet card.

    Thanks for the help.

We did this once just with our editing software. We had someone wear athletic shorts rolled up on the street corner making him look like he was flashing the cars driving by. We duplicated the layer and cropped around the person stomach area. Used the pixel preset and placed over the duplicated clip. Then he would turn back and fourth from the camera and we just edited accordingly. Came out pretty good. I think using AE will make it much easier though.

Thanks everyone for all the info you have provided. It’s nice to see other helping and giving advice unlike where I live to ask someone for advice means to let them know of a new business opportunity. All appreciate everyone’s ideas and tips and advice. I feel more prepared but I will continue to look into this this even more so I can go in with the owner and tell him what we can offer.

    Thanks again!

Thanks all for the input thus far. Steve what I meant by no one coming to his stores is that he runs a car dealership and he does wants sales people coming to his store and asking for the sales manager and take up their when they should be trying to sell cars and not taking time talking about sponsorships or buy time on my station etc… He wants all that sent to us and we decide where best to place his ad budget. I hope that clarifies it a bit. As for payment, I believe we will have a set price for commercial production print ad etc…he was talking about pricing for the spot on TV and it’s ratings depending on what the demo is for that spot. But thanks for the advice on everyone’s part. I was really confused when he started asking me about all these different things but as I went back I think it started to sink in and made a bit more sense.

    Thanks
