    Hi Folks
my favourite is now AudioFinder 4.01. Its not free but it directly supports
Audio Units and has a good editor built in. Here is the link:
    https://www.icedaudio.com/
Hierarchy search is super fast as is audition of audio files. It reads everything. I had to slam through 19 GB of
Production Music given to me as an Itunes library recently and this application really did the trick.

2 part answer, second part first:

    1. Select the transition in the Favourites bin in the effects tab of the Browser.
    2. Select Edit > Clear (or press Delete)
(user manual page 391 – available from help in FCP)

    Free Sapphire Effects;
    1. Consider becoming a public chew toy for the Gen Arts Polar Bear mascot – go to the arctic circle and await instructions.
    2. TRY CAPITALISING EVERYTHING!!!!!!

I would like to officially second this feature request proposal.
It would tidy up long form workflow and create a simple forum
    for collaborative editing process.

  • You don’t need a chart if you use Photoshop 7.0 or above.
When making a new file there are presets for all the sizes you mentioned
as well as their aspect ratio conversions in NTSC and PAL.

OK – I’m assuming you still can’t see any frames of the files in either
Qt Pro Player or MPEG Streamclip 1.7.
The next thing to try is the VLC media Player:
    https://www.videolan.org/
And the next to try is:
    https://www.digigami.com/download/
    MegaPEG Pro HD demo

You need to find out what format of M2v your client has given you.
It may be an elementary broadcast stream.

My favourite converter in this situation is MPEG Streamclip.
It will identify the type of M2v, and also demux the audio if present in the MPEG stream.
    Better still, its free:

    Many thanks specialcase.
I have downloaded the PDF from your second URL. It looks like I am being dragged kicking and screaming
into apple developer land. Being a big fan of your good tutorials I will post my results to you.
I somehow feel that Motion 3 is on its way after the announcement of Core Animation.

  • Hi Rob Ikenberry and Footbaggin
Rob is correct – MacDrive6 is your best bet in this situation.
Rumour has it that Apple have come up with the license money to support NTFS formatted volumes directly
with Leopard – but thats a couple of months away.

    Best Regards
