usually if i have an issue with an alpha or luma matte, i add a levels effect and change the white output of RGB or alpha.

you used to be able to literally copy the .aex files over to the other computer’s plugin folder. sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. do you know what version of the project you save it as? you may be able to go back, but the real question is, how do you want to move forward? those color adjustments would only exist with those plugins or even worse, that version of premiere, so you may need to burn in the color as a digital intermediate and re-edit.

try lowering 150-300 hz to remove muddy low end and raise 1250 and raise 5k for clarity
also, one method to match mics is to play pink noise in both and then in spectral view, make them match up.
you can also add multiband compression to change dynamic response non-linearly across the spectrum.(no more than 1.5x-2x) which gives people the special ability to speak louder only at specific frequencies. Har-ball used to do the opposite and gave control over that.
TDR NOVA is a free plugin and has built in volume per freq and compressor adjustments. This newer tech is called ‘dynamic equalizing’.
once you get the clarity back, you can use a studio reverb at 1% at 150hz which gives a subtle 416 smooth sound.

sorry, the screenshot is small. what do you mean by issues with “depth” and is this a technical issue where the plugin can’t handle covering large objects or is it an artist questions. since art is subjective, it would be hard to answer without an example. you may also want to post in the videocopilot forum here and on his blog for the videos. but if you wanted a general impression, everything looks better in linear light compositing, especially blurs. and you can try 32bpc glows.
