there’s many ways to extrude but off the top of my head, you could try trapcode with primitive 3-D shape rectangle then add video to it.
and I would strongly suggest using a 3-D light to give it depth.

if you mean just jpg, then best bet is photoshop bicubic resize. if video, then use plugin like red giant’s instant hd with antialiasing. It wasn’t meant to take 320×240 so don’t expect fantastic results.

All I can say is, it doesn’t like your graphics driver. I had that with a really old xp video driver too.

probably color management in file->project settings, your gamma settings aren’t preset. If you had SD or HD color space b4 try those, they will brighten up the image.

right clip video->interpret footage, there’s 16:9 that has to match composition widescreen, as too the pixel dimensions. You can stretch the final render with stretch enabled, change comp size to match it. You may not be noticing the pixels in preview because they are black. You can click the transparency button which will show a checkerboard instead. It’s the checkerboard button in comp window.

does it render out correctly? if it does, its just opengl preview, disable that. other things to try is 32 bpc in file->project or even if your preview is 50% size, that would make it look bad. I’m sure I’ll think of more in the future, but try to remove possibilities with older project files and/or renders.

hard to say without a lot more information, like the audio codecs you used and the actual final file size. It could be anything from a VBR audio that loses sync, to no keyframes, to such a huge file size, your computer can’t play back video without locking up.

I believe you have what they call, the evil GL-1 problem. It’s a filmic way to wreck your video. Best bet is to anti-alias it with a resizer plugin.
