post a project file with a single image. 32bpc has nothing to do with importing 8 bit footage. what does your color management look like? interpret, view output, simulate, monitor profile, AE preferences-gamma adjustments etc…

would it work if you convert to keyframe option then alt click stopwatch on the position and paste in the bounce?

if there is data there, data recovery wizard professional can get it. but if the file itself is corrupted, use virtualdub to rebuild the broken index file. you might have a missing frame, cut it or blend 2 adjacent frames with timewarp.

it looks like post-grading. I made a 2 strip that will do the same thing

I don’t have this camera but people say you can pre-set shutter speed and iso but the camera chooses aperture for you.
Also, its lens/cmos chip may not have good infrared protection. try a IR cut-off filter and see if the problem goes away. -
where’s the clip? If it’s just a color shift and not an actual light intensity pulsing, you can simply key it out and white balance separately. primatte keyer will do this automatically

1.circle of confusion is f/8 or higher for fuzzyness.
2.try to get hyperfocus distance on near and far objects.
3.ND filter is def better.
4. wide angle lenses shot far away have the same depth of field as telephoto lenses which is also why your stuff could be fuzzy.you should read about how depth of field works. It’s extremely complicated and if you don’t know what you’re doing, you won’t get what you want from your camera.

i think there’s 2.
rec. 709 and rec. 709 16-235. which is ntsc legal but lops off.
