Hi,
Thanks for yur help… Could you tell me where on the menus? In the display menu it wasn’t clear and when I tried what I thought was that option, while I could see the display on the lcd screen it didn’t show up on the dvd..

dvd source is non-24p 4:3 mini-dv. I don’t care if the progressive scan is “really” progressive scan, I just don’t want the player to force it to stretch when set on progressive scan, since a lot of clients are not going to realize they can turn off progressive scan.. My rear-prjection tv has various formatting modes like 4:3 and zoomed 16:9 which makes the image16:9 by cutting off the top and bottom rather than stretching, but with progressive scan on, theses modes are disabled. So I will try turning off the anamorphic flag….

Yes, I noticed that after writing my post, and deleting the quicktime receipts and reinstalling quicktime did the trick.. Thanks

it does have “show through edits” checked; what does that mean?

…would this be likely to be an issue when the project has just one sequence and one clip with audio mixed down? I am right now redoing a master tape from such a project, because it paused while printing to video…
