If you haven’t purchased yet – I’ve got 2 bays in West LA – Wilshire/Bundy in a nice AC office 5 mins from 405 or 10 FWYs. By June 1 first bay will be G4 dual 1.4 OS 10.3.9 M100 8.2.2 XR lossless P6000 with DV and 2.5TB SATA raid. 2nd bay will be G4 867 OS 10.3.9 M100 8.2.2 XS Vincent 601 with 1/2 TB internal Sata. Thanks Floh! I’ll be jumping into a fullblown hd M100 the moment they integrate multicam function and xmf file capabilities. This is a small stopgap until then. Then the dual g4 will become a very nice 2nd m100 bay!

Great info! Thanks for responding. With a very big show on the horizon – this info was so important! I was getting ready to purchase 2 M100HD systems. I hope Boris is listening! Something the original m100 owners didn’t do – or just didn’t respond fast enough to the markets needs. Kind Regards – A 2 system long time M100 Fan.

Do you have the links to the ebay seller? Did they say anything about seagate drives. I’ve used them pretty exclusively but the price you qouted sounds pretty hard to pass up. Thanks for your post! Best Regards… Chris

I had what sounds like a similar problem using a DSR 20 deck. It turns out the dv tapes were recorded in the LP mode instead of SP. Hope it helps… Chris
