No, edit in a 23.98 sequence, leave the 25p alone and just drop it in.
Create a 23.98 BD-R.

25p is PAL not NTSC.

You should edit this video in a 24p sequence and master and 24p video.

Put a copy of the media on your raid or AV drive(s).
From within APP open “Media Browser” drag clips into project.
Edit.

No need to transcode.

After exporting the video using H.264 formatting and uploading it to youtube, my manager complained that there were weird “halos or lines” in the white background emanating out (but not moving) around the subject.

Compression artifacts.

Do not apply key to top layer.

Ya, 90 min. is a big file.
But you got the right idea, .h264 codec, but try .MP4 for file type.

What is the file you are compressing?
HD or SD? What size and frame rate and codec?

What are you going to: 720×480/30p .h264 .mov file?
